2014 Disney World Marathon Highlights & Inspirational Stories

What is meaningful to you and how are you challenging yourself to grow as a person?

See how the Disney World Marathon is a means for real and symbolic victory of the participants. Hear their stories of pushing themselves to reach personal goals, fulfill dreams, and achieve the seemingly unachievable.

The journey to this day has been exceptionally tough for some having to overcome the difficulties of Sjogren’s syndrome, cancer, weight loss, and a 25 year pack-a-day smoking habit in addition to the adversity of training through cold weather and injury.

Join Dan and Jack as they combine cycling the Florida Connector Route from St. Augustine to Ft. Myers stopping half way to run the marathon at Disney as part of a fund raiser for Pine Valley Camp, an outreach to bring hope and healing to inner city kids (www.pinevalleycamp.org). Some of the participants run to support other organizational causes and are part of Team Sjogren’s (www.sjogrens.org) and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) team training.
